Healthy Heart
Workshop Description
The heart healthy workshop is offered every other month. Participants will work with the Registered Dietitians to learn about practical tips that they can implement to start living a more heart healthy lifestyle.
Who It's For
Adults over the age 18 who have high cholesterol or triglyceride levels.
Eligibility
Open to all patients at Health for All FHT and Community patients who live in the local catchment area.
Location
Alternates between In person group Sessions at Cornell Library or online through Zoom.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Psychoeducation Group
Workshop Description
The goal of the CBT group is to teach participants how unhelping thinking styles can affect their behaviour and feelings, and to use strategies and skills from CBT to change their ways of thinking.
Who It's For
Adults over the age of 18, especially those who suffer from anxiety and depression.
Eligibility
Open to existing/previous clients of Health for All FHT and Community Care Team.

CBT for Insomnia (CBT-i)
Workshop Description
The goal of the CBT-i group is to improve sleep and minimize drug therapy if required in adults.
Who It's For
Adults and seniors.
Eligibility
Open to patients at Health for All FHT and Community patients who live in the local catchment area.

In-person group sessions at the Cornell Library.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Workshop Description
The goal of the DBT is to teach participants new skills and strategies to help them build lives they feel are worth living. The DBT skills group is broken down into three modules: Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness. It will help them better manage distress/crisis situations, better regulate their emotions and build better relationships with those around them.
Who It's For
Adults over 18 years old, individuals with BPD, depression, anxiety, self harm, substance use.
Eligibility
Referral Only. For patients at Health for All FHT and Community patients who live in the local catchment area.
Location
In-person at Health for All FHT.
