Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Description

The goal of the DBT is to teach participants new skills and strategies to help them build lives they feel are worth living. The DBT skills group is broken down into three modules: Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness. It will help them better manage distress/crisis situations, better regulate their emotions and build better relationships with those around them.

Who it's for

Adults over 18 years old, individuals with BPD, depression, anxiety, self harm, substance use.

Eligibility

Referral Only. For patients at Health for All Family Health Team and Community patients who live in the local catchment area.

Location

In-person at Health for All Family Health Team.
