At Health for All Family Health Team, we see the value in engaging with our patients, their family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to improve the quality of healthcare we provide to our patients. By partnering with our patients to understand their experiences and needs, we are able to be responsive to their needs and provide patient-centred care.

What is the Patient Experience Advisory Committee?
The Patient Experience Advisory Committee supports Health for All Family Health Team by enhancing the patient experience, improving access to care, and elevating the quality of care. The committee provides valuable feedback and recommendations for initiatives and programs focused on patient-centered care.

What We Do

Who can join?
We are looking for patients that enjoy working collaboratively with others and be willing to constructively share their healthcare experience with others.
You can join the Patient Experience Advisory Committee if you are a patient at Health for All Family Health Team.
Why should I join?
This is an opportunity to have your voice heard and contribute to improving patient-centred care. Patient advisors will receive an honorarium for their participation on the committee.
What do committee members do?
- Selected patient advisors will need to commit up to 10 hours per year to the committee over a two-year term and be available to meet quarterly.
- Provide valuable insight into patient’s needs that will contribute to decision-making to improve our programs and services or inform the development of new programs and services.
- Provide advice on areas that increase patient engagement and patient-centred care in the services we provide.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives by constructively sharing your perspectives, lived experiences and feedback.
- Participate in projects that require a patient’s perspective.
