Dietitians are registered health professionals who are trained experts in the field of food and nutrition. A Registered Dietitian is someone who has a nutrition degree from an accredited university and has completed a practical training program to ensure certain standards are met.
Health for All’s Registered Dietitian is also a Certified Diabetes Educator who can work with you and your doctor regarding:

Before your 1st appointment with the Dietitian:
- Record your food intake for 2 week days and 1 weekend day including:
- What you ate and drank and amounts of each
- Time of day
At your 1st appointment you will need to bring any nutritional supplements you are taking such as vitamins, minerals, herbs and medications (along with your food record as above). Alison will work with you to obtain a detailed assessment of your usual eating patterns, food preferences, intolerance/allergies to foods, daily schedule, cooking ability, etc to help you make goals for creating positive nutrition changes for improving your health. This session will take up to 1 hour. Follow up sessions will be scheduled as required for 30 minutes.
Alison is available by appointment for registered patients at Health for All on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
